About Milena

Mylene Goodman began her artistic career at Hornsey College of Art, studying Fine Art. Mylene then went to Milan, Italy to train as a Shoe Designer. It was here that Mylene was given the name Milena, which became her professional name.

After working in that field she developed an interest in ceramics and took a range of courses at West Dean College, The Camden Arts Centre and finally Weald College, where she gained a City and Guilds Diploma.

For 15 years Milena owned a small studio at her home in Hertfordshire, where she continued to study and develop her style of work.

In 2006, Milena set up a small Arts Centre where she can practice and teach a variety of arts including painting, sculpture and pottery.
